The role We're looking for an Account Manager to become the established day-to-day ‘go-to' for a portfolio of clients, trusted for the quality of your judgement as much as the quality of your delivery. You'll translate agreed strategy into sharp, on-brief tactical implementation, combine PR creativity with sector intelligence to spot the angles that matter, and mentor the Account Executives coming up behind you. It's a role for someone who wants to be a genuine communications counsel to their clients, a ‘critical friend' who steers activity, not just executes it, while helping to shape BLUE's culture and the next generation of BLUE talent. Tasks Client & account management Become the trusted day-to-day contact for your clients, translating agreed strategy into sharp tactical delivery across multiple accounts Monitor delivery against KPIs, combining PR creativity with sector knowledge to spot news hooks and thought leadership angles Act as a ‘critical friend', leading client meetings and building relationships with journalists and industry influencers Writing & content Produce client-ready first drafts, press releases, pitches, by-lined features, media briefs and speaker abstracts, with minimal input needed from senior colleagues Oversee client social media content acro
