Omaze is building a business and culture committed to growth and creating significant social impact on a global scale. 🔑 About The Job To provide senior leadership continuity for UK accounting during a maternity-cover of 12 months owning the UK close, statutory reporting, audit delivery and financial controls for a high-growth, complex business. This is a hands-on director role in a lean team that has recently undergone significant transformation (an NetSuite migration, new products, etc), with several major reporting and governance obligations landing during the cover period. The successful candidate will combine strong technical and operational accounting with practical leadership and the ability to keep a fast-moving finance function running smoothly. 🔧 What You’ll Be Doing Monthly close: own the UK close on a US GAAP basis, plus the UK statutory (IFRS / FRS 101) books, ensuring accurate, timely and standards-compliant reporting. Audit: act as primary day-to-day contact for the Omaze UK Ltd and Omaze UK Holdco statutory audits (Deloitte). Team & operations: manage the UK accounting team and coordinate the outsourced accounts payable team, overseeing accounts payable (ApprovalMax) and day-to-day banking and treasury operations (Barclays, JPM). Technical accounting: oversee complex, recurring areas including prize-draw revenue recognition, charity liabilities (five-year, present-value-discounted payout schedules), winner payout schedules (twelve-month standing orders), lease accounti
