Bookkeeping & Accounts Clerk (Accountancy Practice)  - Sherborne / Shaftesbury Area  Salary: 30,000 - 36,000 + Bonus Hybrid Working - 3 days office based, Flexible hours (around core hours 10am - 3pm)  Free Car Park, Full Study Support towards further training (AAT / ACA / ACCA)  Join a growing and digitally focused accountancy practice supporting a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Our client is a growing and ambitious accountancy practice with a strong reputation for providing high-quality advice and support to businesses and individuals across the South of England. As part of a wider group of established practices, they offer the opportunities and resources of a larger organisation while maintaining the friendly, collaborative culture and personal approach of a local firm. Due to continued growth and an increasing client workload, they are looking to appoint an Accounts and Bookkeeping Advisor for a newly acquired practice near the Sherborne / Shaftesbury area and joining an existing team of 14.  Key Responsibilities Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for review. Prepare personal and/or business tax returns for review, according to experience. Process monthly bookkeeping for clients across a range of industries. Sales and purchase invoice processing. Bank and credit card reconciliations. Prepare and post journals (e.g. payroll, depreciation, accruals, prepayments). Produce VAT returns for review and submission. Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure information is accurate and deadlines are met. Support client onboarding and contribute to excellent service delivery. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the practice, contributing flexibly to the wider needs of the team. Identify opportunities to improve processes and the service provided to clients.
