Your Mission As a backend leaning Full-stack Engineer at Ben, you’ll help build and scale the features that power our platform from benefits browsing and payments to provider integrations and smart admin tooling. You’ll take features from idea to production: understanding the problem, scoping solutions, building, shipping, and making sure what you deliver truly solves the need. You won’t just be handed tickets, you'll contribute to shaping why we build things, how we build them, and what the future of our product looks like. You’ll collaborate across product, design, and engineering to make decisions that matter: data models, integration patterns, API design, scalability choices, and how we support a system used by hundreds of thousands of people. At Ben, everything is connected so what you build helps power payroll workflows, provider integrations, notifications, and everything in between. And you’ll do all this as part of a fun, fast-moving startup, spending 2 days a week with the team in our Barbican office .
