You're good with detail. You like things organised. And when there are hundreds of invoices flying through the system, you're the person who keeps everything accurate. This Invoicing Assistant role offers 28,000 on a 12-month fixed-term contract , based in Blackburn. You'll join an established finance team, take ownership of a busy workload and get the chance to make an impact from day one. As the Invoicing Assistant, you'll be processing around 200-300 invoices each day, so pace and accuracy matter in equal measure. You'll manage the sales ledger, check transactions, resolve discrepancies and make sure everything balances at the end of the day. It's structured, focused work where getting the detail right makes a genuine difference to the wider finance function. There won't be a long bedding-in period. You'll be trusted to get up to speed quickly, manage your own workload and keep things moving without constant supervision. You'll already have previous invoicing experience and be comfortable working with high volumes. Sales ledger processes won't be new to you, and you'll know how to stay accurate when deadlines are tight. You don't need to know every system on day one, but you do need to be confident with numbers, organised in your approach and willing to ask the right questions when something doesn't look right.
