Description The Waste and Environmental Manager will: Manage the daily operations of the waste centre to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations. Oversee waste processing, storage, and transportation to meet operational targets. Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed across the site. Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Lead, train, and motivate the team to achieve performance goals. Implement and maintain environmental and sustainability practices. Prepare operational reports and provide updates to senior management. Coordinate with external partners and regulatory bodies as required. Profile A successful Waste and Environmental Manager should have: Experience in waste management in the manufacturing and production industry. Knowledge of waste management processes and environmental regulations. An open-minded and forward-thinking approach. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to manage budgets and operational targets effectively. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. A commitment to health and safety best practices.
